Installation Ceremony 2015 -2016

Saturday 9 April 2016

Thank You to our fellow lions for joining us at our Installation Ceremony, as we honoured past lions and welcomed new ones! Here are some of our favourite pictures that represent the occasion!

Lions club international began by supporting those who faced blindness everyday and grew to include more volunteer initiatives today. As a symbolic gesture, members who joined after January 2015 wear blindfolds as they accept all the responsibilities and duties that come with being a lion and hope to never face another moment in the darkness again.
Candles are lit to symbolize a lion's duty to help and inspire others to bring light to the darkness. These candles represent a lion's goal to always bring happiness to the world.

Lions of all shapes and sizes! Both past and present lions of the Ryerson Campus Lions Club and District A711 Lions come together for a photo, after celebrating achievements and working on plans for the future!

There's nothing like a round of mafia to finish off the night! It's all smiles here!
